Parus’ staff have an extensive background in environmental regulation, and have successfully permitted projects ranging from major thermal energy plants to dune wetland restoration projects. Principal Tom Lagerquist has 21 years of experience as an environmental consultant and project manager. He specializes in using aerial imagery to increase the accuracy and usefulness of environmental analyses. He has prepared GIS maps to support special-status wildlife and vegetation surveys, mitigation planning, regulatory permitting, and environmental impact analyses. Mr. Lagerquist is also well versed in the planning process, and has successfully performed as an integral member of planning and design teams where he has provided biological and regulatory compliance insight for agencies, utility companies, and private development projects.
