Parus is an authorized value-added reseller of DigitalGlobe high resolution satellite imagery, as well as AirPhoto USA digital orthophotos. We conduct remote sensing analysis including feature extraction, land cover, and vegetation health assessments.  Our clients have used our services to assess the effects of landslides, enforce environmental regulations, and evaluate the aftermath of the deadly plant pathogen that causes Sudden Oak Death Syndrome. 

Additionally, Parus can obtain historic areal photographs of California as far back as the 1920's and we have the capacity to perform aerial processing, including rectification, projection, mosiacking, and color balance, which enhance the  possible applications of these images.  Parus’ custom aerial photography is a cost-effective tool for mapping pipeline routes and assessing environmental features such as wetlands and woodlands.

We maintain a full suite of digital image processing and GIS software and hardware, including a large format color plotter. Parus’ GIS and mapping capabilities are optimized for efficient management of projects ranging from small rural subdivisions to major watershed and infrastructure endeavors encompassing large geographic areas.
